CLAYTEC SanReMo 25 kg

Single or multi-layer base and top plaster indoors, particularly suitable for changing substrates during renovation, renovation and modernization. Clay plaster SanReMo is mortar for medium-thick jobs. It can be made very thin at 3 mm and quite thick at 10 mm. The mortar also tolerates differently or only slightly absorbent plaster substrates. The porous water-storing pumice and the fine miscanthus fibers contribute to this. The fiber is not visible on the surface. As a base plaster, clay plaster SanReMo is suitable for all fine Claytec clay top plasters, e.g. YOSIMA. It can also be simply painted with the Clayfix clay paint system.

Clay plaster mortar type Clay plaster mortar as an earthenware mortar. Dry.
application Medium-thick single-layer base and finishing plaster indoors. Particularly suitable for surfaces with sufficient grip, but only slightly absorbent, such as concrete, highly insulating bricks, magnesite-bonded wood wool panels (e.g. WAKA surface heating & cooling systems), foam glass insulation panels and other sufficiently flat surfaces made of suitable building materials. Hand or machine plaster.

25 kg sack (equivalent to 17 l mortar for 2.8 m2. D = 6 mm), 48 sacks / pal.
storage Unlimited dry storage possible.
Mortar preparation With the addition of approx. 30% water (7.0 l per 25 kg sack) with the motor whisk or by hand. In large quantities also with all commercially available free-fall, plate and trough compulsory mixers. Information on the use of plastering machines at If the mortar is not processed immediately, water may have to be added again due to the pumping speed of the aggregates (approx. 1.5 l after 30 minutes). If the mortar is left to soak for a long time before processing, add more water if necessary and work through it again.
Plaster base Clay plasters only adhere mechanically. The plaster base must be stable, frost-free, dry, clean and free from salt contamination. Weakly absorbent substrates must be sufficiently rough and have a good grip. If necessary, DIE ROTE is suitable as a primer for coarse clay plasters.
Plaster application The mortar is drawn up with a trowel or sprayed on with a plastering machine. Minimum and maximum application thickness 3 and 10 mm. Basically only 6 mm per layer on concrete or overhead. WAKA surface heating & cooling systems 8 mm. On wood wool panels and WAKA surfaces, reinforcement fabric (CLAYTEC 35.010) is placed on the still wet plaster and incorporated. The incorporation of a reinforcement fabric is not systemically necessary on homogeneous solid construction substrates. SanReMo clay plaster attracts quickly because of the absorbency of its aggregates and can be processed after a short time. The surface structure depends on the time of processing and the tool used. Basically, the more the plaster mortar has set at the time of surface treatment, the finer the structure. Rubbed surfaces are made with sponge, plastic or wooden trowels. Smooth surfaces are achieved by post-treatment with the smoother.

Processing time Since there is no chemical setting process, the material can be processed for several days when covered, further addition of water see above. If the plastering machines and hoses are idle, the sticking of the material may have to be taken into account. In contrast to other clay plasters, it may be necessary to empty and clean the equipment during longer interruptions.
Follow-up The coating is possible with the primer DIE WEISSE (CLAYTEC 13.415-.410) and the CLAYFIX clay coating system. Clay plaster SanReMo is a very good substrate for YOSIMA clay designer plaster.
Work samples The suitability of the substrate, the thickness of the application and the effect of the surface must always be checked using a sufficiently large work sample. Claims for complaints that do not result from mixing errors at the factory are excluded.
